This year the City of Edmonton Youth Council made a documentary called "Through My Eyes" which profiles homeless and formerly-homeless Edmonton youth, offering them a platform to tell their stories in their own way, in their own words. The film was directed and produced exclusively by youth under the age of 20 - by youth, for youth. Our presentation is about how film can be a mechanism for social change, the role that young people can play in municipal politics, and a call to action to end youth homelessness in Edmonton.
